Not Just Fleurons//adjustments and corrections

Having had a second conversation regarding the progress of this brief, with Sarah Malleson professional gardener, she pointed out an error in my work. Having spent some time dividing up the seed range between 'medicinal plants' and 'medicinal seeds', I was informed that technically any plant used medicinally is in fact classed as a herb.

definition of a herb:

herb

/(h)…ôrb/

Noun
  1. Any plant with leaves, seeds, or flowers used for flavoring, food, medicine, or perfume.
  2. A part of such a plant as used in cooking.

I didn't want to continue designing the range as it stands knowing this new found information, so I went through my work so far and corrected the typefaces, titles and any other adjustments to make the seed packaging all the same.

I adjusted the fonts on the quote cards to match the typefaces used in the previous medicinal herbs range:

I also had to change the labels from 'medicinal plants' to 'medicinal herbs' and the fonts used on the seed packets:

As well as the fonts used on the labels for the gardening tools:

This ended up working in my favour, as I found that with the typefaces all the same across the range, the branding looked maintained a stronger identity.
